Hi. My name is Jackson. I was born in Hazard County, Kentucky sometime in 2013. I don’t remember anything about my first several months before my Mom and Dad adopted me but I do know that I am a lucky dog. I was in a kill shelter in the South and was going to be euthanized until Eleventh Hour Rescue (www.ehrdogs.com) saved me. They brought me to a shelter in NJ and then me and my brother were in a foster home. I got really sick and had to go to the hospital and then I was put up for adoption. Mom and Dad saw a photo of my brother and asked to meet him but when they showed up – it was ME. They left and I was sad but they came back a few days later to get me. I didn’t want to get into the van though because I didn’t like motor vehicles. I like to chase small animals, watch birds, go on walks & hikes, eat sticks (or anything I can get into my mouth) and play ball. Oh, and, now I REALLY like being in cars and run to the front door whenever Mom and Dad are leaving.
